Frequently Asked Questions
Is this legally binding?
For everyday agreements a visible signature on a PDF is widely accepted. This adds a picture of your signature, not a certificate-based digital signature (Verify PDF Signature won’t list it). For regulated documents, use a qualified e-signature provider.
Upload to server?
No. Everything is local.
Can I add initials, dates, and text?
Yes. Use the Type tab for initials or a date, press “Place on page”, and drag each one where it goes. You can place as many as you need, on any pages, before saving.

This page promised you could type your signature and drag it where it goes, and honestly it couldn't do either: it always stamped the bottom-right corner of the last page. Now there's a Type tab (your name in a few handwriting styles, using fonts already on your device), and you see the actual page: drop the signature on it, drag it into the box, pull the corner to size it. Initials on every page plus a full signature on the last one? Place as many as you need before you save.
Uploading a JPG signature failed after you'd picked it, and a drawn signature stamped a white rectangle over whatever was underneath. Both fixed: any image works, drawn signatures are transparent, and the signature lands in the bottom-right corner of the last page whatever its size.
