How to Make a Printable Sudoku PDF (Free Puzzle Pack)

2026-06-22

Short version: you don't need a subscription or a stack of puzzle books. ToolKoala's Sudoku tool can spit out a clean, printable PDF — pick how many puzzles and whether to include the answers — entirely in your browser.

Make the pack

  1. Open Sudoku and choose a difficulty (Easy → Expert) and a variant if you like (classic, diagonal, or mini for kids).
  2. Set Puzzles in PDF — 1, 2, 4, 6, 10 or 20.
  3. Tick or untick Include answers (answers print as compact grids at the end).
  4. Click Printable PDF. You get one puzzle per page, plus an answer section, with a small footer showing the difficulty and date so you can tell printed batches apart.

A 20-puzzle pack generates in under a second, all on your device.

Why print Sudoku?

  • Screen-free time — paper puzzles for kids, a coffee break, or a flight.
  • Classrooms — print a worksheet pack with the answer key for marking.
  • Travel — a folded sheet needs no battery and no signal.

It stays on your device

Puzzles are generated and rendered to PDF right in your browser — nothing is uploaded, there's no account, and no tracking. Close the tab and it's gone.

Tips

  • For a kids' worksheet, switch to the 4×4 or 6×6 grids before exporting — they're quicker wins.
