I pasted a paragraph of Chinese in here and it told me it was one word. Chinese and Japanese don't put spaces between words, and the counter only knew how to split on spaces, so a whole page counted as one. Now every Chinese or Japanese character counts as a word, the same way Word and Google Docs count them, and 。!? end a sentence. While I was in there: "3.14" and "e.g." no longer count as three extra sentences, an emoji is one character instead of two, the top-words list keeps "don't" in one piece and finally lists Korean, Russian and Greek words instead of quietly skipping them, and the reading time is shown in your own language.
