🎉 Raffle / Random Name Picker

Pick winners fairly from a list of names — for giveaways, prize draws, or who's up next. Crypto-random, no sign-up.

✓ Free Forever · ✓ No Signup · ✓ No Upload · ✓ Works Offline

🔒 Your entrant list never leaves your device. Names and the draw all run in your browser with cryptographic randomness — so the result is both fair and private. No upload, no account, nothing logged — a list you choose to Save stays in this browser only.

Features

  • Fair and unpredictable — Crypto-grade randomness and a real shuffle — every line has exactly the same chance, and no server picks or sees the result.
  • Pick one or many — Draw a single winner or several at once, with or without repeats.
  • Nobody wins twice — By default each person wins at most once — even if their name is on the list more than once. Toggle it to allow repeat wins.
  • Private by design — Your entrant list stays on your device. Nothing is uploaded or logged.

How It Works

  1. Paste your entries — One name (or ticket / email) per line.
  2. Set how many winners — Choose how many to draw, and whether repeats are allowed.
  3. Draw — Hit the button for a fair random draw; copy the winners to share.

Use Cases

  • Run an Instagram / social media giveaway fairly
  • Company lucky draw or year-end prize
  • Pick raffle ticket winners
  • Cold-call or pick a student at random in class

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this raffle actually fair?

Yes. It shuffles your entries with crypto.getRandomValues (cryptographic randomness) and takes the winners — every line has exactly the same chance, nothing is weighted, and the result can’t be predicted. The one thing no tool can stop is the host drawing again until they like the result, so draw once, live, where people can see it.

Can I pick more than one winner?

Yes — set the number of winners. By default each entry wins at most once; tick the box to allow the same entry to win again.

What if someone is on the list twice?

Each line is one ticket, so a name listed twice has twice the chance — right for a raffle where people buy several tickets, wrong for a pasted comment list with repeats. The page names everyone listed more than once and can keep one line each in a click. Either way a person wins only once unless you allow repeat wins.

Do you store the names or winners?

No. Nothing is uploaded or logged, and the winners are never kept: close the tab and they’re gone. Only a name list you press Save on stays, in this browser only, until you delete it with ×.

Can I use it for a giveaway people will trust?

Yes — you can draw live on screen so everyone sees it, and the randomness is the same crypto-grade source used for security.

The raffle promised nobody wins twice, and that was only true for lines, not people: paste a comment list where someone appears twice and they could take first AND second place (about 1 draw in 10 in my test with five lines). Now a person wins once unless you allow repeats, and the page names everyone who is on the list more than once — each line is still a ticket, so you can keep the extra chances or keep one line each with a click. Asking for 10 winners from 3 names used to quietly give you 3; now it tells you. The time of the draw and the entry count sit under the winners for your screenshot, and if the browser blocks Copy, it says so and selects the list instead of pretending.
