I split a 7-page PDF into three with my own splitter and only one file landed in my Downloads: "Download All" fired three downloads in a row and the browser quietly blocked the other two. It now saves one ZIP. The parts used to be called split-1.pdf, split-2.pdf, so two splits of two files overwrote each other; now each one is named after your PDF and the pages it holds, like report-pages-4-6.pdf. A PDF from a phone that arrives without a proper file type now loads, a file that isn't a PDF or is password-protected gets a clear message (with a link to Unlock PDF) instead of nothing at all, and Change pages keeps the PDF loaded so you can cut out the next section straight away.
