Unlike ToolKoala's other tools, this one reads your connection: one request to our own Cloudflare edge for your location, plus Cloudflare's icanhazip to detect your IPv4 and IPv6. No third-party trackers, no API key, and nothing is logged or stored — it exists so you can see what every site already learns about you.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does this tool upload anything or use a third party?
No outside service. It makes three requests, all to Cloudflare: one to our own edge, which reads the geo data Cloudflare already attaches to your connection, and two to Cloudflare's icanhazip (one IPv4-only, one IPv6-only) to show both addresses. Nothing is logged or stored — not even in your browser's offline cache.
Why is the location a bit off?
IP geolocation is approximate — it usually points to your city or your ISP's region, not your exact address. The coordinates are a rough centroid, not your doorstep.
How is this different from the other ToolKoala tools?
The others are 100% local — nothing leaves your browser. This one necessarily reads your connection (that's the whole point): one same-origin request to our edge, plus two to Cloudflare's icanhazip for your IPv4 and IPv6. Still no third-party tracker, still nothing stored.
Can I hide this information?
A VPN or proxy changes the IP — and therefore the location and ISP — that sites see. Turn one on and hit Refresh to watch it change. A VPN doesn't change your device's time zone, though, and any site's JavaScript can read it: if your clock says a different place than your IP, this page tells you.
Notes from Milo 🐨
With iCloud Private Relay or a split-tunnel VPN, this site can be reached from a different address than the two lookups see, and the page used to drop that one: the card showed two addresses and neither was the one I'd actually received. Now the address this site saw is always on the card, with a line explaining why it differs. If you have no IPv6 the page says "none detected" instead of leaving you guessing, the country is written out (Malaysia, not MY), the network's AS number sits next to its name for firewall rules, and if your device's clock is set to a different time zone than the one your IP points to, it tells you: a VPN doesn't change that, and any site can read it.
I turned a VPN on, hit Refresh, and the page still showed my home city. The site's offline helper had kept a copy of the last answer and handed that back first, so the location lagged one visit behind, and your address sat in the browser's cache, which this page says it never does. It now always asks fresh and keeps nothing. The page also marks which of your two addresses this site actually saw, phones get the address on its own line instead of broken in the middle, and Copy All tells you when it worked (or when the browser blocked it).
People kept telling me they only saw their IPv6 address and wondered where the “normal” one went. So now it shows your IPv4 and IPv6 side by side — no more guessing which one a site actually sees.
